Public Notice Regarding Special Education Services

Hamilton Public Schools USD 390, as a member of The Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative, provides a free appropriate public education to all exceptional students enrolled in the district. This includes special education and related services provided in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and state laws for all students with exceptionalities (0-21 years of age). Services are provided in each child's neighborhood school when possible.
The Hamilton Public Schools offer developmental screening for children from birth to age 5. If you live in the USD390 boundaries and have a child from birth to age 5 and you have concerns about his or her development, please call Hamilton Elementary School at (620) 678-3244 to set up an appointment for screening.
