Caroline Woodie Governor's Scholar

In the state of Kansas, the top one percent of High School Seniors will be honored on May 3, 2015.  Governor Sam Brownback has invited these students of excellence from all over Kansas to come to Topeka to take part in the Governor’s Scholars' Award Program.  The students come from a wide diversity of backgrounds from both private and public schools.  This year the student chosen from Hamilton as the top 1% of its graduating class is Caroline Woodie, daughter of Stuart and Melissa Woodie of Hamilton, Kansas.  Caroline will travel to Topeka to attend the program where she will receive a certificate of accomplishment and shake hands with the governor.  It is a great honor to be chosen for this program and we are certain that Caroline will make Hamilton High School proud.
