Special Education Parent Survey

Recently, Kansas parents of students with disabilities who have IEPs received a notification letter asking them to complete an online Parent Survey. The survey responses are used to help guide efforts to improve services and results for children and families receiving special education services.

If you are a parent who received the notification, and haven’t gone online to complete the survey, please do so prior to June 1st. If you have questions, please contact KSDE at 800-203-9462 or 785-296-5608. Thank you for sharing in this important process.

Temporary Lockdown on Thursday, April 18, 2019

Because of an incident that occurred in the Madison community earlier this afternoon which initiated a temporary lock down of the schools in Madison we also decided to place our buildings on a temporary lock down. In speaking with the Greenwood County Sheriff’s department that lock down has been lifted. At no time did we fear for the safety of our students. The students were engaged with their regular class routine. Thank you for your understanding and have a great rest of the day.
